These women are changing the world…

…for the better. resist domination. fight for our shared freedom. listen to the stories. feel the love. tell the truth. stand up. is it life-affirming? Then do it with verve and joy.

Whatever we do, will it ease the suffering and oppression of others, or add to it? Think about this. What is the next right thing?

Sometimes the gift is NOT what we want, but what we need.

a little brag now, kinda off topic–deadlifts tonight. top set–250lbs (that’s 113.6 kg) x 2. that felt good. no belt, no wraps, no shoes. just me and the barbell. and focus!

in the gym, I can focus. and i pick up after myself, and put stuff away after i use it, and wipe the benches clean after i’ve sweat all over them…someday all that will leak into the rest of my life.

promise.

Feminism is the hope of humanity. Feminism and black iron.

About easilyriled

My mom was Edith, my dad was John. I have a brother, who is Shawn. I have many friends and allies and mentors in my life. I'm white, over-educated, under-employed, messy, funny, smart, lesbian, feminist "Not the fun kind", as Andrea Dworkin said. But I, like the feminists I hang with, ARE fun. I play accordion better than I did, and i'm learning the concertina. Slowly.
